Commission an Artist is proud to represent Rennie Hamilton. Rennie is a Fine Artist who specialises in both glass and acrylic. ‘Climate Change’ compels her to capture images that encourage the viewer to question and raise awareness.

Rennie studied Fine Art in the West Midlands and Sunderland. She has lectured, taught and exhibited both in the North East of England and Abroad. In previous years, landscape, strata and rock formation have been predominant in her paintings, oil and acrylic.

In 2007 - 2009 in New Zealand she researched the immediate environment producing paintings, on site, as resident guest artist and exhibited at five galleries spread across the North Island. On her return to the UK in 2008/09 she established a fine art gallery, in Barnard Castle, curated 3 major exhibitions, 6 regional artists and promoted the work of 40 fine artists of various disciplines.

She also worked with One North.East, leader North Pennines to establish a new art gallery and facilities based in Barnard Castle, opened 2010.
