Golden Eagle by Karen Blenkinsop
The subjects which interest Karen all tend to be quite sculptural in their own right with clean, strong lines as this suits her style. For the drawings, she usually works from still life (Fossil) or photographic references as in the Black Cat which is one of her own images and who lives in Amsterdam Zoo. All the drawings are pencil work on watercolour paper.
