At Commission an Artist we work to bridge the gap between artists and commissioners. We act as an intermediary art agent who can source a suitable artist for your art commission, and ensure that the work gets done.

Artists are usually sub-contracted to Commission an Artist. They are of a high standard, have relevant experience, and expertise within the art world. We usually only accept artists who have exhibited and completed a fine arts degree. However, we also use artists without these but who have shown exceptional flair and talent.

Our usual customers are PR Agents, Media Companies, Magazines, Book Illustrators, Private individuals, Record Sleeve Designers, and private clients who want something special for their properties or as a gift for someone. We work for anyone who is looking for specific artwork and can work in digital media, installations, and traditional art styles.

There isn't a set process from us once you have decided to commission an artist. It all depends on the commission required. For example you may require digital artwork to be drawn up and emailed, or you may need a full pre-visit to an installation. Whatever your requirements, we are flexible and try to keep costs down as much as possible whilst not compromising on the quality of the work.
